Fremantle’s Gage Roads Brew Co is one of our best waterside destinations to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Open every day from 11am until late, there’s plenty of room for everyone in this 1500-capacity, family and dog-friendly venue.

A lunch visit to check out some of the new dishes on the menu has become an annual tradition, and this year’s plates included:
– Tuna ceviche, mandarin, celeriac, kaffir lime, yoghurt, aja amarillo chilli dressing, basil
– Tomato salad, stracciatella, fennel, basil, mint, white balsamic
– Coconut prawns, toasted corn, onion & chilli escabeche, red chilli, curry leaves, lime
– Pork ribs, mizuna leaves, radish, crispy onions, ricoto chilli dressing, lime
– Baja fish tacos, pineapple & jalapeno salsa, habanero & mango sauce, coriander
– Mango pavlova, passionfruit, whipped cream, mandarin crisps
I’ve always been impressed with Gage Roads’ ability to pump out seemingly endless plates of quality, consistent food. This visit was no different. Oh, and don’t forget the 14+ in-house beers!

If you’re looking for somewhere to while away an afternoon over a long family lunch, or enjoy a group dinner with everyone’s tastes catered for, Gage Roads is well worth a visit.
