Taste Great Southern 2026 Revealed – Tickets on Sale Now!

Taste Great Southern 2026 has revealed its program, inviting guests once again on a culinary journey throughout the spectacular Great Southern region of Western Australia. Celebrating abundant fresh produce, local producers and makers, world-class chefs and iconic locations, the festival promises a line-up of unmissable experiences.

Taste Great Southern is one of my favourite annual events; last year I attended a lunch with George Cooper of Tiller Dining. Building on the success of the 2025 festival under new management, it returns on March 5th – 8th 2026 and will feature over 20 exciting experiences, set across the region from Albany to Denmark and extending to Mount Barker, Porongurup, Katanning and in between.

Also featuring on the program is acclaimed chef and television personality Guy Turland (The Bondi Chef), Will Meyrick (Mama San, Buzo, Hujan Locale, Billy Ho, Honey & Smoke – Bali), WA Good Food Guide 2024 Chef of the Year Paul Bentley (Casa), Luke Foyle (Juanita’s), Jacob D’Vauz (Special Delivery / Magnolia), 2024 WA Good Food Guide Regional Chef of the Year Amy Hamilton (LibertΓ©, Albany), Melissa Palinkas (Young George), Great Southern chefs Silas Masih (Pepper & Salt, Denmark) and Shane Vermaak (Majuba Bistro, Albany) and sommeliers Cyndal Petty and Emma Farrelly (State Buildings).

This lineup of drawcard culinary personalities is teaming up with local talent and producers to guarantee a program that celebrates the culinary richness of the Great Southern region.
