Earlier this week I attended a dinner celebrating the newly refurbished Events floor at the Parmelia Hilton Perth with some local bloggers, media & Hilton staff.
First we were treated to a unique garden party, with canapes hanging from the trees and some rather strong cocktails! Dinner was then served around the edge of the kitchen, including taster-size portions of four dishes from the Events menu which were executed by the Hilton team with incredible precision. My favourite course was the (flaming) lamb cutlet with pumpkin puree. The evening ended with a spectacular dessert table, complete with dry ice!
Thanks to Chef Ricki Fleming and all at the Parmelia Hilton Perth for a fantastic evening.
Two cocktails were offered in the garden – Pimm’s with Blood Orange and Tanqueray Gin with Grapefruit.
Prawn cocktails were hanging in the trees…
Tomato, basil and haloumi bruschetta in a cone.
The spicy beef fillet with leek fondue and fried mushrooms was delicious, with quite a spicy kick.
Twice cooked pork belly with seared scallop, mango salsa, sprout salad and prosciutto crumb.
Roasted lamb cutlet with rosemary thyme crust and pumpkin puree.
