Short Order Burger Co. is excited to announce the opening of its new Baldivis restaurant on Tuesday, 13 August 2024. Joining Short Order’s other venues in Perth City and Fremantle, this third restaurant brings a much-needed quality burger experience to Perth’s south-west corridor.
“It’s a great vibe here in Baldivis. I really love this community; it truly matches our demographic,” says owner Simon Kony. “This new location has been years in the making. It was all about finding the right spot, and there’s enough distance between here and Freo to make it worthwhile. We genuinely hope everyone enjoys what we’re doing.”
The new restaurant will deliver the complete Short Order experience, from the full menu to its famed high level of service, which is beyond what you normally expect from a burger restaurant. The venue was designed by Perth-based Mata Design, with fit-out completed by Osborne Park’s Dedicated Construction (DeCo).

Diners can enjoy Short Order favourites including classic beef and chicken burgers, the acclaimed FNZ Nashville hot chicken sandwich and specials such as the annual Manjimup truffle chicken burger. Gelato Bam Bam will be providing its gelato in tubs and shakes.
Short Order is a community-focused business, and looks forward to engaging with local people, businesses and the council. All the restaurant’s staff have been recruited from the local area. The Baldivis restaurant is also likely to serve as a test bed for the group’s new menu items, so locals can expect some exclusive treats.
“I want to connect with the community as much as possible,” says Kony. “It’s really cool that we were able to hire all our staff locally.”

Short Order Baldivis will be open 7 days from 11am to 9pm and is located directly across from cafe Brother of Mine at 61 Makybe Drive. The restaurant will open on Tuesday 13 August 2024, celebrating with a free cheeseburger to the first 200 customers.
We’re really excited about this one,” Kony concludes. “Baldivis feels like home for us.”
