News: Pair’d Margaret River Unveils its 2025 Festival Program

Pair’d Margaret River Region x Range Rover unveils its 2025 program – a dreamlike feast for all the senses, celebrating wine, food, music, culture and place – featuring global talent from Michelin starred restaurants, local heroes, world-class chefs, performers and cultural icons from across the globe.

Building on the success of the 2024 debut, which resulted in a series of sell-out events,
Pair’d Margaret River Region will return this year from November 20th to 23rd, offering guests 30 one-of-a-kind experiences.

From underground opera in ancient caves, to a sun-dressed beach club, cooked by chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, the festival invites guests to journey through flavour, place and creativity. The natural beauty and grounding energy of the Margaret River Region remain the star of the show, playing a key role in every experience on offer.

Often referred to as the “Godfather of Fire”, internationally acclaimed Argentine chef Francis Mallmann will cook over open flame for the first time in Australia, and headlines the festival with a Signature Open-Fire Culinary Experience.

Known for his appearances on Netflix’s Chef’s Table and his best-selling cookbooks Seven Fires and Mallmann on Fire, Mallmann brings a unique culinary philosophy that emphasises authenticity, nature, and the transformative power of flame.

The immersive journey will culminate in an unforgettable dining experience where Chef Mallmann will craft a menu over open flames, celebrating the raw beauty of nature and the essence of shared meals, offering Pair’d guests the rare opportunity to witness his iconic cooking methods first hand.

Western Australia South West Minister and Acting Tourism Minister, the Hon. Don Punch, MLA, said he was very excited to see Pair’d Margaret River Region return for a second year.

“I’m thrilled to be bringing Pair’d back with an exciting lineup of new and returning sell-out events that showcase the incredible wine and food of the Margaret River Region,” Minister Punch said.

“Being named Australian Traveller’s number one food and wine getaway after the success of its inaugural year, I’m certain the appeal of returning favourites with the addition of new experiences will draw local and interstate visitors to the festival”.

“Attracting out-of-state visitors to the Margaret River Region for events is part of our economic diversification strategy, as they book out the region’s hotels, explore our wineries and restaurants, and engage with local tourism operators.”

Pair’d Festival Director Hannah Pike explains, “Pair’d is a ‘wine first’ celebration of connection between people, producers, landscapes and cultures. We’re incredibly proud to present a program that is not just a festival, it’s a region-wide sensory experience that celebrates what makes this part of the world so incredibly special.”

“With the prestigious ‘World’s 50 Best Vineyards’ awards taking place in the region in the days leading up to the festival, the global wine spotlight will be on Margaret River, and Pair’d offers guests a front-row seat to enjoy the region’s brilliance.

In a landmark announcement, Range Rover joins the festival as Presenting Partner, signalling a powerful alignment of design, craft and exploration.

November is one of the most beautiful months to explore the Margaret River Region, with warm sunny days, cool evenings, and ocean breezes setting the scene. For out-of-state travellers, Pair’d is a rare chance to experience the region through an expertly curated lens, with no need for weeks of planning. Now with direct flights from Perth, Melbourne and Sydney to Busselton-Margaret River Airport, it’s never been quicker or easier to access the beauty of the region.
