The heat was on last week when OzHarvest’s flagship fundraiser CEO CookOff® came to Perth for the first time as part of a nationwide tour of kitchens to raise funds for those who need it most.
Nine events will ignite kitchens across seven states, uniting top industry leaders and renowned chefs to cook, connect and create change, raising crucial funds to address Australia’s hunger crisis. The tables are turned as leaders create gourmet meals, then serve and dine alongside special guests from OzHarvest’s supported charities.

The culinary all-star lineup featured Colin Fassnidge, Miguel Maestre OCM, and Blaze Young who took over Perth City Farm on Thursday 16 October.
OzHarvest Founder Ronni Kahn AO is excited about the event format for the CEO CookOff®, which has evolved since its 2012 debut and has helped deliver more than 16 million meals to people in need.
“Australia is facing a growing food crisis, with more than 3.4 million households struggling to put food on the table.” said Ronnie Kahn AO.

“CEO CookOff® is a unique experience where leaders step out of their comfort zones to cook alongside world-class chefs, and break bread with special guests from the charities OzHarvest serves. The magic of this event is the profound impact you have when you sit down, share a meal and have a conversation with someone, knowing you’re helping put food on their table.”
The CEO CookOff® offers an exciting opportunity to connect with influential leaders, from CEOs and small business owners to philanthropists and changemakers.

CEO CookOff® events will be held in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Launceston, and Perth throughout October with a goal to provide two million meals to feed people in need. Every dollar raised enables OzHarvest to deliver two meals, creating direct, measurable impact for participating companies.
Founded in 2004, OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality surplus food from more than 2,600 businesses, including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, hotels, retailers, airports and retail food outlets. Every week over 300 tonnes of food is saved from going to landfill and delivered to 1,500+ charitable agencies, helping to make a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable people across Australia.
