McDonald’s McWings Make a Great Landing

Getting back to business with the latest permanent addition to the McDonald’s menu – Chicken McWings. I didn’t have much hope for these, especially after HJ’s terrible attempt at fried chicken, but thankfully Macca’s has got these right.

A (very) decent sized wing, crunchy and moist. It’s hard to find anywhere to complain. As you can see, a serving of 5 ($10.95) almost covers a dinner plate. For a quick snack, you can get 3 for $6.95. Please excuse my chubby fingers?

The two new condiments are also great – surprisingly, I preferred the ranch, although I think that’s because it’s a change from the usual. The buffalo is good too, but we’ve seen it many times before. They do work well together in a buffalo / blue cheese kind-of way ?

I’m guessing they are cooked to order as I had to wait 8 minutes in the service bay, but the crunch was still there even after the drive home so I’m a happy customer.

Well done Macca’s.
