The highly anticipated Gascoyne Food Festival 2025 is a month-long celebration of the region’s incredible food culture, running from 26 July to 31 August. This year’s festival has expanded significantly, growing from 7 events last year to 16 events across the region.

I’ve attended the Gascoyne Food Festival on several occasions – including a memorable trip to the Biggest BBQ in Mount Augustus – and it’s one of my favourite regional events.
The festival is a celebration of the region’s natural bounty and the innovative spirit of its people, with visitors encouraged to explore the region’s culinary, cultural, and natural beauty.

The festivities will begin in Carnarvon before moving to Exmouth, Upper Gascoyne, Shark Bay, and Dirk Hartog Island, giving attendees the opportunity to explore the diverse culinary offerings from local farmers and producers against the backdrop of the stunning Gascoyne landscapes.

Tickets are now available online, but due to limited capacity at each event, festival organisers urge people to book early to avoid disappointment. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the month.
